A Vegetarian Super Bowl

Here at the Chubby Vegetarian, we wholeheartedly endorse Super Bowl Sunday, if only for the wonderful food that will be had by all. Aren't you dreaming of it already? We definitely have a few ideas for the event this weekend, and most involve comfort food on platters and in bowls, lots of heat and spice, and watching our football-loving friends and family lose their ever-loving minds over the game. Here are a few of our favorites that might work well as a part of your own celebration. Go, whoever!

A Vegetarian Super Bowl:

Southern-Style Cheese Dip

Vegan Peanut Chili with Charred Corn and Avocado Salsa

Better Jalapeño Poppers

BBQ Tofu Nachos

Green Pea Hummus

Smoked Dates with Goat Cheese & Pecans

Vegetarian Poutine

Zucchini Fries

Pizza Fritta

What a great list! I can't wait to give the cheese dip and pizza fritta a whirl but I must confess we're not watching the Super Bowl on Sunday. Oh no. We're having a giant Puppy Bowl party. You can go ahead and be jealous if you want to. :)
